There are a lot of great things from this game.
We just lost to the #8 team in the country by 16. That isn't 40. That is pretty respectable. Granted ND is overrated, but that was a closer and better game for SU than Maryland.
The downfield throws work better than the screen plays. Hunt throws the long ball better than the screen and the receivers, while not getting separation, can catch the ball.
Our D gave up a ridiculous amount of pass yards, mostly that screen we can't run effectively, but they caused a crappoad of turnovers, got in the backfield, and played with fire.
Our O seemed to adapt. It was clear the run wasn't going to happen with that ND front 7. We threw the ball downfield. That is in game change. I like it and haven't seen a lot of it.
