I'm in a show hole, need suggestions

I can't get enough of Industry. It's so spastic and great. Don't think I like anything else on TV as much currently or in the past few years.

finished the 4th season of Lincoln lawyer. I have read all the books so I enjoy the visual interpretation of the stories.
I’m still nearing the end of Season 4 of Lincoln Lawyer. Not sure why I keep watching it, though. I find it kinda hokey. But I’ve liked Becki Newton for a long time–since Ugly Betty—she sees me through it.

I watch industry in spurts. When I get bored and have forgotten why I stopped watching the last time. I think it very well written, and some of the characters are good, but I really do not like anyone and it makes the entire world feel ugly. I especially dislike Harper, and not in the entertaining way where you ‘love to hate’ someone. I compare it to Succession, where all of the despicableness was made to be fun and entertaining. In Industry, it’s just vulgar and unseemly.

I’ll prolly start again next month….

So, My Wife The Pharmacist was working nights this week, figured I'd try to get some value for my Netflix subscription. Watched a good indie film called Red Rockets about a very manipulative ex-male porn star, watched the two most recent Knives Out mysteries and enjoyed them both.

But by far the most memorable viewing experience was an amazing documentary called 'Amy', about Amy Winehouse. How they got that footage, I have no idea. But I came away with a newfound respect for her talent, and something close to sheer hatred for the two people most responsible for her downfall (well, three, if you count her mom who barely made an impact). Man, if only she'd been able to be the great jazz singer that Tony Bennett recognized her as and that she wanted to be...
I need to see that Amy Winehouse thing.
Back in the day, I had zero interest in her or her music, because it seemed like any news I heard about her was negative. She as just a ‘People/TMZ’ thing. Then, for some reason, after she died, I saw her performance at the Dingle church, with its behind the scenes stuff. I had previously not had any clue about her talent, her voice, or her personality. Frankly, I was shocked. She was lovely, but tragic, and it’s sad that so many people like me only had that singular, superficial exposure to her while she was alive.

Completely agree. My wife absolutely hates Harper. No one is/was likeable outside of perhaps Rob. But Succession is in my top 3 ever so probably why I love this. I'm pretty much just an HBO ho since The Pitt and Knight of 7 Kingdoms are the only other things that I'm really enjoying currently.

It's spectacular. It's by the same guy that did Senna and think he may have did the Oasis doc too.

I went back and watched Top Boy for the second time. Worth the watch if you haven’t seen it before and enjoyed The Wire. (Available on Netflix)

Culinary class wars was the ultimate binge show.

I forgot what day it was. I need to watch tomorrow

Completely agree on culinary class wars. Wife and I would end up making Korean food and drinking soju on release drop nights like idiots.

Got one episode of Midnight club on Netflix.

Really thought this was gonna be better. It’s also different than I imagined, so I don’t know how I feel about it.
Last episode in a few hours see how that goes.

Got like 6 or 7 episodes of walking dead left.
Then it’s back to falling skies.

finished 3rd season of the Night Agent. lots of the usual chaos in his world. Cross has been solid again, getting ready to start in on the Pitt.
