I saw it on Netflix and decided on a whim to watch it a few weeks ago. The characters hooked me immediately. All are flawed like you said. And their relationships with each other are ever-changing.

Although it can get pretty technical, I don’t think that you really need to know a ton about computers to enjoy it. It’s really just about the dynamics between the 5 main characters and them pursuing their ideas and dreams. And it’s not much to commit to. Four seasons, 10 episodes in each. Most are around 40 mins long.

Even though the AMC logo flashes in the beginning, I might have guessed it was one of their shows. It just has the feel of one. Maybe not in the content, but in style, cinematography, etc. I checked and it looks like some of the same people that worked on BB and BCS were part of it
