Anyone on The Lazarus Project? I think I have one more episode left. It’s not bad. A lot of people getting shot in the head. But I guess that’s a little less sensitive since it’s a show about manipulating time. Very different from Bodies, though the core of the theme has some commonality.

I’m on the last season of Derry Girls. Just wacky stuff. I love the accents and slang. Some of the characters are really spectacular. Funny. It’s nutty that the ‘kids’ are played by actresses who were actually 25-35 years old. Kinda like PEN15, but also quite different.

I recently got my 80 year old mother to watch Breaking Bad. I was both happy and shocked that she stuck with it. At first, she indicated she didn’t like the violence and she said she might ‘get back to it next month,’ but I told her it just gets better and better through season one. She asked me a couple of questions and I decided to watch along with her so I could answer things more thoughtfully than my cruddy memory would allow. But, then she caught fire—she was watching four and five hours a day. I couldn’t keep up. She texted me, “Walter White is a piece of .” And then the next day, “I’m hooked.” She went through it all in two weeks. Now I’ve got her on The Office.
