But if I don’t like the characters, I have to like watching them for some other reason. Whether it’s that they’re clever, funny, or the story is smart, funny, poignant… something. Flaws are not the issue. You can be flawed and still have redeeming qualities, or flawed and still interesting/compelling to watch. What I don’t enjoy is watching a flawed premise, and I haven’t reached the episode in this show where the premise makes enough sense to compel me to continue with it. But, it’s Hamm and it’s Apple, so I’ll try the next episode and hope it develops. As I’ve confessed many times, I didn’t like Breaking Bad the first time I tried watching it, either. [/QUOTE]
