I’m only into episode two, but it’s alright. Same vein and aesthetic as Peaky Blinders, which I liked for a couple of seasons and then my interest just waned. This will prolly be decent for one season.

Season two. Dumb. So dumb, and not in the way that the dumbness made the first season tolerable. This is dumb-dumb. Bad, lazy writing and directing. Big things, little things…. Little things that are big just because they’re so ridic…. Just a few minutes into episode 1, Fortune Feimster rushes into the kitchen, puts on potholders, takes a tray of cakes out of the oven, angrily slaps some tinfoil over the whole thing and then picks up the tray with her bare hands and carries it out. I like Fortune, but how did she and everyone else on set not pick up on that? Uggh.
