I would love to see Mike G have the game of his life against Michigan State. Kid has been amazing for us this year and a great game might be worth a round or two for him.

Asinine post. Nobody hates Cooney personally, only his inconsistency as an alleged marksman and how that inconsistency has had ill effects for the team they love and are passionate about. There's not one SU fan that wouldn't love to see Cooney "destroy" Dayton. Oh Lord

I want to see the assistant coaches and staff go off and get everyone to the Dayton game on-time with all the equipment and uniforms. I want to see JB go off and have the team primed and ready to go against Dayton. Heck, I want to see the fans go off and drive to St. Louis!

either that, or you are pretty simple minded...as im clearly inferring I want a win...and how it would be nice if he did well in it for his sake...and then threw in an obvious hyperbolic statement designed to make his detractors eat a little crow.

Can we focus on Dayton first? Love the confidence but if we drop the game Friday nothing else matters.

The important part is that he plays well. The why is inconsequential.
 
Can't help but think Cooney will do better than in 2014. He had 2 pts. 1-6 FG, 0-4 3pt.

I love the idea that if we hope for good things past this game we are in some way putting bad mojo on Fridays game...

1. If we are having an affect on games with posts here, we doomed

2. It's okay to project, you know you'll have us in the final four on one of your brackets
 
G and Valentine would be a hell of a matchup. I see them as very similar players. But lets beat Dayton first.
 
then after mike g goes off on dayton to help us win that game, and after whoever middle tennessee state's best player is goes off on msu to help them win that game, i hope mike g goes off on middle tennessee state, and whoever middle tennessee state's best player is has his worst game of the year against us.

but there also was 'reasons' why we shouldn't.

my fun was based around that.
