we play a jort like defense because we have no expectation of ever being good on defense, it's simple to install, can roll it out there against everyone and we get that time back for the thing we care about (trying to get a competitive advantage on offense thanks to the dome)

the 2-3 zone is more like zubaz than jorts.  comfortable, no appeal to women, and is not widely worn but unlike jorts, zubaz also happens to be awesome
