a top 10 team is up 14-13 over an unranked team. they face a 3rd and 2 from midfield with 1 min and 1 second to go when a penally is called... its a clear false start on the top 10 team from a 5th yr senior... clock keeps ticking, they run their 3rd and 7 play with 41 seconds to go... and by the time the refs mark the 4th down ball back in play - the game clock is less than the play clock... BALL GAME.

that is just as insane as Gurley being suepended. that literally just happened in Bama-Arkansas!

Same thing happened in the Rutgers-Michigan game last week.

And the same thing happened today vs Florida State. That rule plain stinks. I don't know why the official restarts the game clock.

couldnt u just kill two minutes of game time by continuously false starting with this stupid college rule?

Dumb rule that rewards the team for committing the penalty. How that rule hasn't changes is mind boggling. Just a pass a rule that states any penalty in the last 5 minutes stops the clock unless the penalty warrants a 10 second runoff.
