The question is: why is the NCAA dragging its feet on this? They have this sort of restriction in place for football and men's basketball.

I think he can just move his focus forward to high school sophomores approaching their recruiting time and juniors. There probably will be a large decrease in reporting about high school freshmen.

So coaches can't have direct contact with recruits until their Junior year.
But every decent LAX recruit plays for a club team.
And how many club teams are run by former SU players?
