Marrone and Co. need to get on the horn immediately.

I'm sure they'll be in touch with some HS coaches letting them know that they're ready to talk if kids are interested.

Under NCAA rules just how will this go? Do they allow other schools to actively recruit the Penn State roster or is it up to individual players to contact schools that they are interested in?

There is a part of me that doesn't want any of them, but then again......

The school has to let PedSt know they want to recruit player X and player X has to let PedSt know they want to be recruited. Then the school can contact the player directly.

Shortly after the SMU death penalty, a couple hundred college football coaches popped up on the SMU campus and started knocking on doors. The NCAA has said that it was a problem that they didn't for-see and would make rules not too allow it again.

I doubt many will transfer, at least this summer. Already read on CNN.com that many of their players are tweeting their intentions to stay and the whole "us against the world" thing.

Let's see what happens once they get over the initial "emotional shock" and have time to think it through. I suspect that many of the best players on the team, and those who think they should have been playing, will transfer.

This is an unprecedented situation. There will be intense recruiting pressure from many programs. Once the reality of the FACT that no one on the current PSU team will ever play for a NC, or in a bowl game, or for any type of conference championship...they will transfer.

This story broke last fall. Any kid who was on the team at that time signed the letter w/o knowing any of the that went down. What did they do wrong that you don't want any of them? I can see having an aversion to an incoming freshman, since by Feb. 2012 they did have an idea what happened there.

I heard that 2 of the class of 13 have pulled up stakes and the hot shot QB who said he was firm in staying, well it seems his dad has gone public with, "We are going to have to take a serious look at things, then decide what to do."

The high school coach of one of the players heard from a national power, the coach informed him that 10 other schools had already made inquiries. The PSU RB is considering USC. This years transferring players will only have about 2 weeks of practice with their new teams.
