...stays this crappy. We gave up 571 yards, which is apparently the 8th most yardage ever given up by a Syracuse team.

I don't care who the quarterback is, because he can't overcome a piss poor defensive performance like that.

Good offenses will roll us. We aren't stopping the best teams. We need offense to improve to beat bottom six. D was alright last week

If I've ever seen a Tavern League Zone defense that was it tonight and it got shredded!

Seems to me that we have enough talent in the secondary that we don't need to play a zone defense. Do we miss Shamarko's leadership and play calling more than we realize?

NW is elite. Clemson and FSU are elite. Outside of that, I think we improve enough to be okay on D. Our run D is going to be fine. Pass D is a concern - but we have the players. Wilkes and Anderson need to sit.

NW is a seriously good team and our secondary was clearly a huge mess but I can't get over those 4 interceptions and how the game could have been so close if Allen was more accurate.

The D sucked today, and were made to look semi-competent last week by (a) inept QB play from PSU and (b) Allen Robinson being held out of the first half.

I shudder to think what Boyd and Winston are going to do to the SU Defense.

throwing INTs when youre down by 20+ and youre trying to be favre when you are clearly not, isnt a worry. we spent most of the game trying to hit HomeRuns or doubles off the wall and werent really conservative. granted 1 maybe 2 were bad, but whatever, they were toying with us.

the OC need to be smarter. they were playing a veteran ranked team in their building and we dont have SEC talent or even bevo talent that wouldve helped Allen look better. he may be what passes for a stud QB at Cuse, but we need to run 1st and often to help out.

now on the defensive side of the ball.....

The defense was on its heels all day and to have those receivers THAT open was quite alarming. What I'm hoping for is that it was just the perfect storm...at least that is what I'm telling myself.
