For college football, these were the only ones I could come up with... Archbold Stadium Carrier Dome Ralph Wilson Stadium Schoellkopf Field Gillette Stadium, or whatever they are calling the Pats stadium these days Giants Stadium MetLife Stadium Byrd Stadium Pontiac Silverdome (Cherry Bowl) Veterans Stadium Lincoln Financial Field Superdome Three Rivers Stadium Orlando Citrus Bowl Stadium Heinz Field Beaver Stadium Alumni Stadium (BC) High Point Solutions Stadium (Rutgers) Yankee Stadium Ryan Field (Northwestern) Rentschler Field (East Hartford, UConn plays there) Michie Stadium University at Buffalo Stadium Tampa Stadium (Hall of Fame Bowl) Raymond James Stadium (USF) Ross Ade Stadium (Purdue) Notre Dame Stadium InfoCison Stadium (Akron) Scott Stadium (University of Virginia) Doak Campbell Stadium Carter-Finley Stadium (NC State) NRG Stadium (Houston, Texas Bowl) Kelly/Shorts Stadium (Central Michigan) BB&T Field (Wake Forest) Memorial Stadium (Clemson) Worst experience was either a game at Vet Stadium or at Rutgers. I saw SU play Temple in front of about 4000 fans in an awful game. Two bad teams. Not much talent. Syracuse lost...Temple QB Walter Washington just kept running the ball and the SU defense had no answer to stop him. No tailgating, no atmosphere, no excitement (you could hear the players and refs talking from the stands), no anything. And a long ride home. Rutgers beat SU at their stadium in front of less than 10K on their senior day. Again, two bad teams without much talent. No atmosphere, no excitement. I remember feeling bad for the Rutgers seniors, who had perhaps 100 people clap for them as they were introduced. That was the wind bowl game, where SU players repeatedly struggled to even catch wind blown kickoffs. Even with the tiny crowd, there was a traffic jam leaving the area and I had to drive through white out conditions for much of the ride home. Best experience might have been the Sugar Bowl. Auburn fans were fun to talk trash with, despite the ending, it was a great game filled with a lot of future pro players and the crowd was really into it. Might be the hardest hitting game I have ever seen.
