I don't follow it as closely as you, but here is where I am: I like both QB recruits a lot. I think they are both playmakers, and that appears essential in Lester's system and I just dont see Dungey as a 12-game per season guy. Also, they are both reportedly very intelligent kids who have in common father's who were former D-1 football players (NFL in Rex's case) who became attorneys. I think Moe Neal is a great get. I like that we are stacking playmakers at HB (Strickland was my favorite recruit from last class). It's too early to tell with the Camden kids. If i had to guess, they are years away from seeing the field, so time will tell. Both seem like good kids and I like that Parker was essentially picked over a "higher ranked" recruit. Holloway is kind of in the Donnie Simmons mold and will need years of strength and conditioning before he can make an impact. I am sure i shared this - After the 2010 Pinstripe Bowl, I had a conversation with Simmons while waiting to catch the Metro North train. I loved his film out of Stepinac, but was amazed how slight he was. I was a recruited baseball player coming out of high school and I can safely say that I was "bigger" than he was as a high school senior. I like Palmer and Riggins measurables. I'm concerned about o-line. All have good frames but they are all lacking meaningful offers (though I suppose that could change), which concerns me. I dont care much for where the recruiting sites rank kids, but I do think offers is a pretty good indicator of ability. For example, Brouse comes from a pretty prominent hs program in eastern pa, yet didnt garner an offer from PSU, Rutgers, Pitt, Temple, UCONN, BC, Army, etc. All those programs thoroughly recruit that area. Heckel has a few P5 offers but not really from the programs I would note as being strong on the o line. DeGeorge also lacks offers. I will say that all three have IVY and Patriot offers, and Heckel has NW. They are clearly bright, and I think aptitude is can benefit player development most on the o-line. As for the rest, I am concerned that they are undersized and lacking P5 offers. With all classes, time will tell.
