Indoor Practice Facility Announcement @ 3PM Today

That would be huge if we got a substantial donation. I was thinking would take forever to pay for the thing. It still might, but this would help big time, if that is, in fact, the announcement.

They have to stop by Party City to pick up some balloons and streamers first!!!
When they did the uniform announcement, I liked the fact that they tried to put it in public. I think the execution just lacked.

Bring in the marching band and cheerleaders, put them behind the podium. Have the Athletes behind their coach, let all the athletes be back there. Let the kids be fired up when they talk about the official opening and the naming.

That's not the Syracuse way to do things. I'm thinking more along these lines:

Then again, that might be too much orange.

The Carrot Top Indoor Practice Facility (and comedy training center).

Awesome. We seem to always hear about individuals that step in and donate millions to other school's athletic endeavors. Nice to hear SU also has some serious backers.

Cliff is a great guy with whom I've downed many a glass of wine at SU-related events. We will probably never have another three-sport letter-winner... so it is fitting the facility will bear his name.

I knew you would chime in here on Cliff's generosity on this building. I would also like to add another oustanding idea he was behind, "Orange Foverer." A great program to remember fallen student athletes and their commitment to SU. One of the funds I prefer to donate to within the Athletic Dept.
