Ugh, he said that about Erv too. I only had one eye on a muted tv so I missed franklin. How bad was it?
Lester said he wasn't concerned by injuries to redshirt junior tight end Josh Parris (upper body) and redshirt senior center Rob Trudo (lower body).
repos said:Franklin wasn't hurt I don't believe he's just our 3rd string running back and Devante McFarlane was healthy this game. But the speed/playmaking difference between Ben Lewis and Erv is astounding. His loss is really going to hurt when we need dynamic playmakers like hime... fyi I still can't get the memory from last season when T Hunt threw a ball at Ben in the endzone and it literally pegged him in the face :/

Lewis was great today.
I don't know what happened to Franklin, but they took his helmet. I think they sometimes do that for concussions or concussion concerns. Like I said, don't know but he walked around the 4th quarter without helmet in hand.
I saw Parris after the game, he looked A-Ok to me.I gotta hope Trudo will be back
Any word on Parris?
Agreed. People need to quit getting after him comparing him to IRV, he does a lot of nice things on the field for us.
agreed he played a very solid game blocked like a pro and knows this O inside and out. Steady guy good post BeesLewis was great today.
Yeah, Trudo's erratic snapping is my only complaint about the offensive line today. In the spring, it didn't seem like the coaches entertained the idea of starting Emerich and keeping Trudo at guard. I can't help wondering if Emerich at Center and Trudo at Guard is a better combination than Trudo at Center and Shanley at Guard. Anyway, it is not a major concern to me at the moment.Emerich seemed to have a much more consistent shotgun snap than Trudo. Some of Trudo's were all over the place. Dungey made some nifty one handed catches on a few.
Trudo needs to prove he can play at a high level at both spots to have a shot at the pros. OL that aren't starters need to be versatile swing players capable of playing at least two slots. That's Trudos only shot at the next level.Yeah, Trudo's erratic snapping is my only complaint about the offensive line today. For those smarter than me, does Trudo have a better shot at the NFL as a Guard or Center?
I hope you continue to not get that memory.Franklin wasn't hurt I don't believe he's just our 3rd string running back and Devante McFarlane was healthy this game.
