I would much rather prefer those special teamers possess superior athletic skill than their predecessors. We had way too many walkons or true freshman on specials the last few years. There's a major difference in kick coverage if your guys can get down the field even a few tenths of a second faster - we'll probably gain close to five yards in pressure alone, especially compounding that with a kick off specialist that get hang time.
