...this is what we wake up to.

Christ... :bang:

So are we #3 now? Even though this whole situation smells like #2.

Between a four game losing streak in football and this crap, it's a lot rougher to be an SU fan than I'd like, particularly with such a good basketball team.

I agree. I was expecting to have a normal sunday and wham-o this bombshell happens.

Should be an interesting week.

So true, JK--having a top 5 basketball team ought to be something that takes some of the sting off of the football season, not adds to the pain.

All the more reason the national media is going to go balls to the wall to take down a "major top 5 program" in looking into who knew what, where, and when. It aint gonna be fun boys.

Which is why people are asking the questions they are now--the media might not be able to take down the program based upon who knew what, where, and when.

From a selfish fan perspective I hope the boys circle the wagons and kick a$$ this year. From now to March we have 2-3 games a week. I was fortunate to be at the games this weekend, I'm going to the game at St. John's, plan to go to Pitt at the Dome, and will do whatever I can to make it to MSG for the BET.

Right now we have a likable team that hopefully wont bring some of the drama of last year. If the worst happens, I'm going to enjoy the hell out of this year because it might be the last good one we have in a while. And if the worst does happen, then I'm going to enjoy watching the program rise from the ashes.
