Intense week

I don't see anything different this week from any other. The league isn't very good this year.
Yea there is something different, perception. We are out of CFP. Gives the talk show hosts fuel , wether legit or not.

Not looking forward to hearing all the anti ACC smack talk next week.

I don’t think pride is the right word but whatever you want to call it I have zero of it when it comes to the ACC. I’d root for both teams to lose in every conference football game not involving Syracuse if I could. Lol

Had the ACC refs not screwed us 3 weeks in a row, we might be 8-1, ranked with a couple of exciting players going into the last 3 weeks. Then the conference would have gotten good publicity.

No not pride here at all, just as much as it affects the Orange.

It’s the first time we aren’t in the playoff. The SEC is the last conference standing in that regard. The ACC is garbage this year, but should be pretty solid next year.

If referees had not screwed us, we should be 9-0 and an underdog to the playoff. Pitt is on the same boat, they should be 9-0 if ACC referee had not screwed them and they has not been careless against Western Michigan.

Judging by the refs this season I don’t really care about the success of the ACC at large hot take I guess.

Outside of UGA and Bama, I will be surprised if any of the Top 12 teams make it through the rest of the season without at least losing a game.

The ACC has no top team but it is actually pretty good this year. Certainly better than the P12. About the same as the B12 minus Oklahoma. We will probably see 4 ranked teams at the end of the year.

And even in years where the league is good, anyone not named Clemson, FSU, or the U, gets little respect.
I could care less how “they” see the conference- I just want SU to win. Periodt!

Realistically, there is more than 1 play that determines most games.

Yes, for Fla State, that uncalled holding that sprung their go-ahead TD was BS and screwed us.

But a couple games where Dino made calls that didn't work out; you can't count those games as "sure wins" or "shoulda wons". I was say each of those games is worth half-a-game where a bonehead coaching decision cost us.

But let's be honest, the only thing those calls "cost us' was a chance - the players still have to execute (like a couple kicks that Groza missed for us) for us to convert those chances into W's.

Who are the good teams in the Acc?

there are plenty of good teams. There aren’t any excellent teams.

andcwhat difference does it make?

Amazing just how much different this season could’ve gone. Wild.

Lots of optimism for next year though.

well OSu has Mich/msu at least 2 of them will have 2 losses and the way purdue can throw maybe all 3.
and you have Wisc win that side and have a 3 loss b10 champ/

Ala almost got a 2nd tonight and probably loses to GA so only 1 team left in the SEC but if they loses to Ark or Aub you could have them beat GA and have 2 loss SEC champ

Ok with Baylor/Ok st and then one of them again. Might see 2 loss B12 champ

ore loses to Utah and 3 loss p12 champ happens

Cinci might not even be top 10 team in quality and get in this thing.

There is Georgia and a bunch of teams none of which including Alabama who are power house team s.
I think the big 10 is way over rated.

My eye test is Georgia, Alabama, Oklahoma State, Ohio State

I like being in the ACC and I get defensive when fans from outside our conference bash our conference. Having said that, there does seem to be southern bias against us come every gameday, but beyond that I enjoy following ACC football.

Definitely a lot of good QBs in this league.
