Waiters has been settling for jumpers way too much since Fab went out, and his jumpshot flat out isn't very good.  He's excellent at dribble drive penetration, but as far as his jumpshot goes, he's probably the worst on the team compared to the other guards.  There's no reason he should be settling for 3's with a guy right in his face, or fadeaway jumpers with plenty of time left on the shot clock.  And regardless of whether or not that's the mentality you have to have to be a scorer in the NBA, his jumpshot is not good enough right now for that to be a smart play.
