Interesting about the O

In games Dungey started we were 18-13 overall. In games where we scored 27+ points we were 18-3. Average was 32.2 ppg. Note that DeVito played a large part in two of these 27+ Ws (UNC/FSU). If Dungey stayed in the game IMO the FSU game likely is similar, but UNC we don't win nor score 27+ without DeVito.

In games DeVito has started we are 4-8 overall. In games where we score 27+ points we are only 3-2. Average is 25.5 ppg.

In games backup QBs start we are 1-6 overall. In games where we score 27+ points we are 1-2. Average is 28.7 ppg.

So when Dungey doesn't start we are 5-14 overall and we have scored 27+ points in only 8 of 19 games. We are only 4-4 in games where we score 27+ points, but that is more on the D.

This system isn't supposed to need a dynamic QB. But without one we have looked like crap on O. By now Dino should have been able to recruit to his system, which is supposed to minimize talent gaps. It is a little concerning the O failures we have had when Dungey isn't doing his thing.

if you cant hide the oline issues with qb runs it all fails. our qb backups have had some really good games when the oline has played well
