I suggest that you, and your buddies, go set up professional sports leagues for the post-high school athletes and try to recruit athletes to play in those leagues. If there are good athletes in these leagues then I'm sure the NBA & NFL will draft players from those leagues (just as they draft players from foreign leagues today (NBA, NHL, etc.).
