Weird part is, I didn't even realize the Big 10 was struggling.  They don't seem to be having any trouble beating us.
 
Some of their problems will fix themselves.  Urban Meyer will ensure Ohio State stays at the top of the college football food chain (on the field).  I think Brady Hoke will also help Michigan get back up there more consistently, the RichRod experience just wasn't a good fit.  Michigan State seems very content with Dantonio, but that means you better expect to win by running the ball and playing defense, not with the vertical passing game.  Wisconsin seems to be suffering from the massive assistant coaching losses.  I don't think Nebraska will ever be Tom Osborne's Nebraska again, much because of those demographics, and the style they played to get there isn't something that could easily be pulled off today.  We all know Penn State's issues too well.
 
I think the league will always struggle against the SEC.  Everyone will.  They've won the last 75 national championships.  But there's no reason that the league is starting to struggle against everyone not named Syracuse (even including the MAC).  They have to fix that.  If it's a down cycle, so be it, they should be able to get past it.
