What an embarrassment of riches we have at the power positions!

Seriously--think about it for a second: this is three years in a row where we've landed the #1 rated center--Melo, Christmas, and Coleman [I know Drummond was rated higher, but he reclassified and enrolled at UConn already]. There were years when we struggled to get ANY quality bigs--nowadays, we're rolling.

And Keita ain't no slouch, either.

You make it sound like Erik Rogers, George Papadokas, Sean Williams and Billy Celuck weren't highly coveted big men. How dare you.

I remember being at one of my brother's AAU tournaments at Siena where Celuck was playing, and coming away thinking, "well there's someone Syracuse is clearly only recruiting because they owe someone either a big favor or a great deal of money."

Promise to keep this quiet, but Billy actually started 13 games for us on a 25 win team. He may have been JB's illegitimate son. That is about the only way I can figure that he was able to hold off the competition for the center spot from Ethan Cole.

The best interior talent since the late 80's early 90's.

There are a pretty good amount of teams in the Big East who would love to start Keita this season. Just a crazy amount of depth in the frontcourt.

Back court isn't too shabby either.

With that frontcourt, we need someone to knock the ball down consistently from way outside. I am still thinking Cooney gets some time.

How was Billy Celuck not at Midnight Madness? An absolute tragedy.
