Just saw that Duke is playing in China as well... Between them and Gtown, (minus the haymakers they've been throwing) a lot of teams are taking advantage of this opportunity. I believe Florida and Louisville have traveled abroad over the last few years as well... Kinda wish we would do that. Gives the team some decent competition, a great bonding experience, and extra practices.

Aren't they allowed only 1 game abroad before NCAA allows practices? Does give the teams a jump on practice and game playing... as a team. Wasn't Kentucky planning on a game abroad as well?

I'm pretty sure you are allowed a foreign trip once every 4 years. I assume it's a collective decision by the athletic director and coach if you want to take advantage of it.
