Kind of an interesting take, since according to the ratings BYU would have slotted as a 12 seed.

BYU's policy was accommodated, but that accommodation arguably hurt them.

And hurt Iona and hurt Marquette. That is the problem.

There is an NCAA sponsored tournament for teams that refuse to play on Sunday. Its called the NIT.

Not only does Marquette have to play a better team they also have no opportunity to prepare for the 14 seed, like other 3 seeds.
