iPhone notifications

Is anyone else randomly getting a notification (like a text notification) when someone responds to a topic? Anyone know how to control it? I like the notification idea, but I would like to set it up to only notify me about topics that I either start, or post in. I've gotten about 4 notifications from posts that I haven't even read.

Its a tapatalk setting.

If it is the same as the Android app you just need to go into the settings to disable the notification.

I like the notifications, I just want them to notify me about my posts, instead of a random post. No big deal
