30 wins in a reg season (in the big east)
tied for most wins in conf ever
clear cut favorite in big east
easy #1 seed
#1 rpi
1 loss when starting center wasn't playing
 
Hell even when we play and dominate a team, we're not even mentioned on espn as most impressive wins over the weekend.  It was ohio state, or now unc as the new favorite to win.. or Uk...   
 
My point is, when the fine case was all the news, our players took notice and used it as incentive to stick together, to make this about their time, and their goal.  And it worked.  And now as we have more sh$t thrown at the school, could this work in the team's favor of US against the world('s perception)?  The media continues to focus on the negative issues and ignores the great accomplishments of the team.  The actual team that normally would have all the pressures of the media are being ignored... and left to play.
