Doing the daily articles I notice these things.

UConn & West Virginia get tons of coverage win or lose.

There is very little coming out of Beantown, a city of over 636,000.

I bet their hockey team gets more ink.

I know, I know the Pats, the Celts and the Bruins but give me a break they are our ACC rep in that area.

Sad

I posted about this earlier in the BC spread thread:

LOL - shows BC's place in the pecking order. The #2 team in the country, old rival playing it's first game in Boston since joining the ACC, etc. The only mention in the Globe Sports section is under the TV listings. No story - nothing.

BC - you should feel bad.

Look what UCONN has to look forward to in a few years!

UConn will always get more coverage than BC. Two papers cover BC. A half dozen or more papers cover UConn and that's not changing.

UMass some 77 miles from Boston gets more ink

Simple. UMass is winning. BC hasn't had a winning program in years. Nice addition to the ACC.
