Is it too, too crazy to want to see NG/JJ/SW/DF/WK?

If White can knock down some 3’s, as he showed yesterday, we are 10000% a better team with this lineup. Kingz isn’t even a big 2, yet alone a 3. It’s not like he gives us an old school Nova feel, with the endless combo guards. He’s kind of a small shooter. We’re going to need the defense and athleticism against real teams. At the very worst, it’s a lineup we should play if we have a lead. As the defense/rebounding vastly improves.

He was stellar at the end of the game last night. We know he's a shooter and he made some absolutely sweet drives to the basket late in the game.

I mean I’m not saying he stinks, but I think he’s very much an unknown until we see how he plays against p4 players. Sadiq, we know what we’re going to get. I have no clue how Kingz will cover some 3’s in this league. Yeah, I mean the spin move was nice and had another layup inside.

I've been saying since last year, I think we see a lot of minutes with Sadiq/Donnie playing together at 4/5. There will be games that won't work as well, but there will be games and spurts of games where that would be a potent lineup.

If that happens this team won't be a great team JJ is not a great player. When he is off on offense, his defense means he shouldn't be on the floor. And he can't play as your backup point guard.

I’ve long maintained making predictions of who is the best player after an exhibition game is foolish. Kaleb Joseph looked like an NBA player until the real games start. Kingz produced against real teams last year. I don’t get judging him in this setting.

People weren’t “raving” about Carlos. There was a sense of relief that he seemed to be a decent PG and the position wasn’t going to be a disaster. But then it was and Carlos proved not to be a p5 level PG (which is what everybody feared in the off season).

Kingz looks solid to me. In particular, he won't cost us games.

If we want to play George, White, Freeman, and Kyle together, we simply must have a lights-out 3-point shooter as the 5th man. That's Kingz. I wish it were JJ because he is a local kid and a good guy, but it probably isn't.

Even with Kingz in the lineup, we still need a couple 3 and D guys to step up: My top candidates are Betsey, Fennel, and Anthony. I would love JJ to be in the mix as well. If I had to guess, it will be Fennel or Anthony or ... none of the above.
