The day after they pasted Notre Dame, they go out and wax #18 Cal by 39!

I haven't seen them play, but they are absolutely crushing teams right now. Anytime you go out and beat major conference teams by 29+ on back to back nights, you must be doing something right.

They are very good, but didn't play stout defense against Notre Dame.. at least not in the first half. Seem like a guard oriented team that likes to push the ball to the hoop and get the foul.. Bodes well for them, but I think they're the most likely of teams to fall off the shelf at the end of the season. This team has the make-up to be the classic team that is quick out of the gate and stumbles after the mid-turn.

ND is not that good. Cal is vastly over rated and Mizzu had some of its best players in with 1min left while Cal had already gone to the deep bench. Dicky V must have been saying from the 5min mark on "Get those guys outa there". Still Mizzu has been impressive and has some very good guard play. A team with good guards who can actually get it to their bigs would give Mizzu a lot of problems. Guard depth would be very nice against Mizzu as well especially if you can force some of their guards to match up against good forwards.

...think the guard squad at VNolla as the team Mizzu is emulating. For example:
4 guards starting
1 Forward
1 Center on team played 19 minutes, scored 10 pts including a 3 and had 2 boards

Mizzu shot 50% overall, 42% from 3 pt line, and 84+% for FT...

It is a fast team...that happened ot out quick Cal which starts 3 guards and 2 forwards...even though both in top 25...neither has the inside game and rebounding ability to be very good.....I believe 'Cuse would eat their lunch!

Mizzou may be one of the best defensive teams in the country, if not THE best. Their guards just devour everyone. It's hard to even get 5 feet from the arc.

They sound very similiar to last year's Marquette squad. Guard oriented team that is fast with good defense.

They start four seniors [and a sophomore]--very experienced team.

I am not sure how "good" they are as much as they are so different than other teams. And teams like that scare me a little.
