Below is quote from Brandon Triche...thinks the team is not in a flow...but also too much standing around...
I agree with assessment; but isnt it the PG to make this flow happen?

by Thomas Casale - G Triche says offense out of sync
Syracuse shot 50% against Saint Rose in Tuesday’s exhibition win but struggled to score in its halfcourt offense. “Our flow on offense isn’t there right now,” G Brandon Triche said. “That’s why we’re struggling. We need to improve. We need to get guys looks instead of just standing around.” Orange RapidReports

It's good that he acknowledges it... Next step is fixing it... Still not sure why we can't set up shots for guys in a methodical manner. Let's get KJ a couple of low post looks early, and maybe BT a mid range to get them in the flow... When a guy like JS comes off the bench they should get a few runs up and down and then a play called for them to get a shot.

Encouraging that BT is speaking up about this. I don't think he would have made that quote last year. Good for him.

A couple of things to note here. I agree with Upstate that it's a good sign Brandon is speaking up. Now he needs to take that leadership mentality onto the floor. Second, I think part of the issue is that with all the lineup changes Boeheim does during exhibition play, it's hard for players to get into any type of rhythm. Boeheim treats it more like a glorified practice. And that's what it looked like. So that doesn't help. Third, sometimes being "out of sync" or having "offensive issues" can be as simple as not making shots. You make shots, everything looks better. But the bigger issue to me is the poor decision making and the tendency to drive with wreckless abandon. Hopefull they can fix it.

So i know BT missed shots first game...second he was 3-5...who is out of control and driving into defenses...and who is responsible for making the sets move and flow?

he doesn't treat it that way, that is what it is

He didn't play well. Everyone was at fault for the poor ball movement, and it's nice that he shot 3-5, but that doesn't mean he played a good offensive game.

Well the point guard I would think takes a lot of responsibility for running sets and setting the tempo. But Boeheim gives his players a lot of freedom on offense, so the blame can be shared to some degree. Remember though, when Scoop was running things, there wasn't a lot of rhythm and flow. When MCW was, that seemed to improve.

amen...now for a team of MCW and Triche vs. Scoop and Dion...and for whoever wins that is the starting combo
