Carroll told the Los Angeles Times he would not have left the Trojans in January 2010, if he knew what penalties the NCAA was going to impose after it determined Reggie Bush and his family received money and other benefits from sports marketers.

Talking about being on something with that statement along with some of the other statements he spewed makes me hate him even more. The only reason he left was cause he knew the hammer was coming down. Why do you think Chip Kelly bolted Oregon.

Not a huge fan of Pete C but to be honest a lot more must have went on at USC than we know for them to get hammered like that because of what is known isn't all that bad compared to others that have pretty much got away with it or received less punishment.

Charles Robinson of yahoo reiterated yesterday that Carroll was aware of the pending sanctions prior to taking the Seahawks job so I'm not sure who he is trying to fool
