Am I completely insane to think that, at this moment in time, the top of the Big East power rankings look like this?

1. Syracuse
2. Marquette
3. Pitt

I think they are in the top 5 behind us, Marquette, Georgetown and Louisville. Pitt will finish 9-9 in conference. Book it.

I tend to agree with EAO...OK, Gtown could be 3 and pitt 4, but Pitt is not the same team that their record reflects. I'm glad we don't have to play at the pete this year.

Don't forget about Lville, they are still formidable, especially with them getting all of their players healthy.

1) SU
2) Marq
3) Gtown
4) Lville
5) Notre Dame
6) Pitt

considering we have to play lville 2x, yes, i agree your right, let's not forget about them

Marquette and Georgetown are the clear cut two best teams after SU. After that there's a pack with no clear front runner, and Pitt is right there with any of them.

gtown hasn't impressed me.

Gtown has half the talent of UCONN but is playing very smart. They are way more dangerous against the zone than UCONN.

I think we sweep UCONN and split with Lville (finally win one!). Gtown game is the second toughest game remaining in regular season after @Lville.

After Syracuse Marquette and Gtown anybody could be 4th or 5th on a given week. I think we know what we have with those 3 teams, the rest is a crapshoot. Pitt dug too deep of a hole to get out of.

what do you mean, you didn't like that barn burner with the Hoyas tonight? And as far as Uconn goes, that could be the biggest turd of all turds. The most talented turd team in the country!

Have to agree. As much as I can't stand them, they are a different team with Woodall back in the line up.

Gtown aint that good, i put pitt above them. Ill go cuse, marquette, louisville, pitt, gtown.

Its about how dangerous you are come march not how many losses you have.
Pitt just got back Tray Woodall look how much of a difference Melo has made for us.

at 14-9 right now with with games on the road at UL Uconn and SH as well as WVU at home.
And with the toughness of the big east tournament a first game win isn't promised.

South florida, ND and Gtown are tied for third in the big east right now. Nobody would have thought that.

0% chance we're a bigger favorite vs Gtown than @Uconn - awesome betting opportunity for ya.

I was praying he didnt come back in time for us. Gibbs plays so much better when not playing the point. This will be a tough team. People like to rag on Jamie Dixon but the guy can flat out coach. Can you imagine if we lost 7 in a row???? Jesus they would be throwing burning arrows at JB's house from the street.

They could be the 2nd best team.

why, because they have won 3 in a row? Two of those at home, one vs. Providence?

Notre Dame has also won three in a row - one vs. the #1 team in the nation and the other two on the road.

Louisville has won 3 in a row - all of them convincingly, and one of them over that very same Pitt team.

I don't wan to have to face Pitt again, because Dixon has JB's number. But, I don't think they are playing like one of the 3 best teams in the conference at the moment. Maybe 5th.

SU
MU
ND
UL
Pitt

you can convince me that the order of the top 4 is incorrect, but not that Pitt should bump one of them (at this moment, that is)

While i agree that pitt is maybe 5th best (although i have the hoyas instead of nd), louisville beat them without woodall, so that win is kind of irrelevant since hes back and the main reason pitt is even in this discussion.

You guys want to get pissed at someone? Go look at Gasaway's power ranking on espn...

Has OSU number 1 (whatever), and Cuse 4 behind kansas... Uk...ok I get it. OSU...sure maybe i see it. heck i might even bite on UNC. but freaking kansas?!? i really dont think these guys watch much hoops.
