The answer is yes. SU is tied for 9th place with Louisville and ... Wisconsin at 24. Tied w/ the Badgers. That is depressing.
But it is well ahead of Pitt (16), Villanova (13), and Georgetown (10) and everyone else in the ACC or old Big East, except you know who (NC and Duke (both 34) and the Huskies (32)).
Wish it was higher. Hate to admit it is probably a good measure of the Orange's place in the pecking order -- really (really) good but not the top echelon -- too large a gap between SU tourney wins and those at the top of the list. As the article says, SU needed another final four run to make it into the top echelon
