the NIT can take a team with a losing record, but they haven't done it since they changed the rule in 2017, so we aren't disqualified, but... yeah, season over. Don't think Buddy comes back

I think the only way he comes back is if the European conflict spreads and jeopardizes the prospects of joining a squad out there. So many other former players had success out there making a decent living.

For me, Cole is the more interesting question...that dude I am starting to believe more and more should return

Agreed 144%.

Late season Cole is a dude I’d love to see return, and be one of the featured guys on O, along with Jesse (and maybe Joe).

He could look to expand his game further, and I’m sure would like to have a chance to be The Man, as opposed to 2nd fiddle to Buddy.

Cole, Jesse, Joe, Sy, Frank, Benny, plus (hopefully Mintz) and the Frosh -
that there is the makings of a pretty good team.

If we don’t get Mintz, then mine the portal for another guard, and ideally also another forward, in case Benny doesn’t make The Leap, and/or the Frosh forwards aren’t ready.

Yeah, it seems that Buddy is gone. However, thinking about it, why? His stock really dropped this year. Maybe next year he comes back and performs at a higher level which positions himself better for his professional career. That said, while I really like Buddy, I think it's time for the sons to go. The program needs a bit less Boeheim, with all due respect.

As much as I enjoyed rooting for Buddy, the lineup is weird with him and Joe in there. Buddy is too slow to play the wing, but we can't afford not to have Symir out there. Symir and Joe play a good 2 ball and Buddy is really limited to just scoring on offense. Joe has the ability to create shots for others. Joe takes a lot of bad shots, but Buddy can be a dead end late in games. I'd much rather have Swider back next year. He plays better D than Buddy, shoots at a higher clip, and can rebound. Would be nice to have a transfer wing that's athletic and can shoot. Have Symir, Joe, Cole, transfer and Edwards. Think that team can win more than this years, even with the 4 being a mystery.

JB will coach until he’s 90. Buddy will be on staff within 3 years. He takes over as head coach when he’s 30, stays until he’s 80. Syracuse will have 100+ years with a Boeheim as head coach.
