He had a great game yesterday.

He was tough as nails this year. At beginning of the season I had no doubt that he could not play at the next level.

He has convinced me otherwise - he fights for the ball like I have never seen and he catches the ball in traffic as well as I have ever seen.

He was truly great this year and I appreciate what he did on the Hill. Thanks Ish!

He definitely realize the potential I thought he had when he originally signed out of high school. He was really fun to watch this year. I'll be interested to see how he does at the combine. Hope he gets a good shot at the next level to increase the Syracuse alumni NFL presence.

I still wonder if he has the elite speed the NFL requires... his 40 time is going to make or break his NFL career. I'm still shocked that AET is wandering practice squad purgatory when a lot less productive college receivers are getting run.

ish uses his size and body well to create space. good hands. perhaps speed is an issue ?

I would guess 3rd day at best. He did what he needed to on the field, but will have to back it up at the combine.

But, like you said, he was great this year. He was awesome to watch.

Unlike AET, Ish could run routes all over the field and never had issues dropping the ball. His physicality and strength is going to be an asset. He's a Day 3 pick.
Ishmael’s tape against Florida State CB McFadden will get him drafted.
McFadden is a first 2 rounds CB draft pick and Ishmael did well against him.

He uses his body to catch the ball and has a lot of extension to reach and make catches other WR’s don’t. He doesn’t have the overall speed or physicality that will make him stand out initially but plays physically. Teams will notice him, I think 3rd round is best case scenario.

He’ll make camp. I think it will be how well he adjusts to NFL routes and playcalling. Speed is important, but not everything. He checks a lot of other boxes.

I also see 3rd day or better yet, UDFA- that way he gets to pick which team he goes to. Ish fights for the ball better than a lot of guys we watch on Sundays, and has all the physical tools necessary to be a good possession WR.

I can see him being a serviceable slot guy.
Size, hands, runs routes well, uses body to block defenders from making a play on the ball, too fast for an LB to cover him. I fully agree. His speed is not the best but as a complimentary receiver he can take pressure of a speedster and be a relief valve for the QB. Throw in blocking downfield and Ish is a steal.

His work ethic should be appreciated at the next level, too.

They did in case you did not notice. It was totally free room, board and tuition plus a few other perks I am sure. That would be a check for around $200,000.00!
Closer to $275,000

40 will be in the bottom half of receivers in the draft, but will be a high value pick in the later rounds.

Although he was suspect to a pass int here and there he always showed a propensity to get open in tight coverage and catch some difficult balls.

Thank you, Ishmael, for laying the foundation for what's to come.
