Isiah Thomas?

Did the Knicks bring Isiah Thomas back as GM? Marcus Camby for Douglas, Harrellson, and Jerome J AND two 2nd round draft picks. I like Camby but really?

not quite isiah bad ... harrelson is really the only asset.. 2nd rounders in 14-15 no biggie jordan and douglas are d-league specials

Not bad by any means. Toney Douglas was a huge waste of a roster spot, Josh Harrellson is ok but nothing much more than that, Jerome Jordan is a D-leaguer and 2, 2nd round picks means hardly anything. Marcus Camby is still pretty good. He put up nice numbers last year.

If Dolan didnt pull the trigger and Camby went to Miami or Brooklyn, Knicks fans would have went ape.

true... so the question have is now what options do they have? They signed James White.. going to match for lin.. maybe s and t for kidd using Gadzuric? Kidds 3 mil a year might be too much there or am I wrong. They can maybe get Jefferies for the vet min.. and somehow resign JR. After that not sure if there is any chance to grab a foye etc. More just young undrafted guys or vets at the min.

Knicks will probably "try" unsuccessfully to do a sign and trade with Gadzuric for Kidd to keep Mini MLE open. If that doesnt work, they will give Kidd the 3 mil mini MLE. They have Gadzuric as a sign a trade piece that is worth 2 mil for the Knicks. I am sure they try to go after Foye with this but I dont know if he will sign for 2 mil. JR seems to be all but signed even though he hasnt signed yet. Knicks looking real nice on paper! Would be nice to get another quality 2 guard as a backup until Shump comes back and as insurance in case he has a set back.

Luckily Camby is a young guy, I can't wait to watch Camby and Kidd running up and down the floor in 3 years. At least they'll still be able to do that on the video game.

I like the move.
Douglas and those other guys weren't factors in any way, shape, or form. They bring back a "Tyson Chandler-like" defensive specialist in Camby for a last go-round, while shedding loose weight. Camby is a wily, proven vet who knows his role- perfect for those gunners (Novak, JR, et al) in that 2nd unit.
