And I’m not trying to be funny. I really don’t think we have a plan as to what to do against a zone. Maybe after a few min of throwing it around the top and getting to a TV timeout, I guess he told someone to literally stand at the ft line. No screening or moving at all. Obviously this wouldn’t work, so guys would end up panic driving towards the hoop and hope for the best. Not fair to the team to be coached, or not coached, like this.

I was thinking the same but that can't be true can it? I mean we have to have installed sets to run against a zone right?

I mean, everyone here knows how to attack the zone. We are experts at it having witnessed it for
30 years. How could we not be prepared for it. I would go so far as to say I wouldn't use it against us
because you would think we would know how to attack the zone.

For me it was how the team reacted to the zone it’s like we were not even expecting them to use it all. Which is very concerning because they have used it in almost every game so it’s on tape.

It's simple really. We looked hapless against the zone on purpose. JB and Red both know how to attack and defeat the zone, but they can't, because that would give every other team the blueprint. It's a catch 22, if you will.

On the other side…At the risk of Beating a
Long gone horse…do the Orange even practice the zone any more?

If
So it
Might have been useful
To throw on after Kyle hit two free throws
For the
Lead.
Especially with two
Big guards.
Hofstra would have needed a little time
To
Figure out what was going On.
