USF and SU both have 13 offensive TD's on the year.   The secret there is that USF got 7 of 13 against Florida A&M while SU only had 4 against URI.

In the three FBS games since

USF one rushing TD against Md and Memphis each and two passing TD's against FSU and one each against Md and Memphis.

SU has only scored on the ground against CMU, with two TD's.  Passing two TD's against Wake, CMU and three against LSU.

Where SU has the advantage is the balance on offense.  If SU can control USF on the ground they haven't shown the ability to be productive in the pass game, 125 yds against FSU, 60 against Md (110th ranked defense), and 199 against Memphis (100th ranked defense).    Against everybody not a leading Heisman candidate SU has had held the runner to less than 3 yds 64% of the time.   SU has given up 10 rushes of 10 yds or more, 6 of those are to Fournette.   Of the 53 carries of 3 yds or more, Fournette has 21 of them.

SU has been balanced and shown the ability to make plays on the ground and in the air.   Dungey is a passing QB who can run.   Also the last two games USF gave up 300 yds to both Md and Memphis.

USF is 1-3, stop the run early, get up 10, make it a SU home game and it's probably game over.
