It is easy to say this move to the ACC is great, because for important reasons it is. Anyway, in the spirit of bolstering Kaiser's ego by floating him some softballs, here is what I do not like about the move. Note that is "about the move" and not "the move".

I am a 25 year fan of the BE, it is kind of hard to just turn that off. I was chatting with a guy from work today about this. He's from Providence. We reminisced about the old timers, the Carneseccas, Thompsons, all those guys. All that is gone.
"Beasts of the East", the "BIG East", that meant something, now it doesn't.
I hate that the BBall onlies ran this conference into the ground. How could you look at the changing landscape and not carve out a bball only vs football/bball split? Hell, expand the bball only side if you have to. Adding Villanova for football what a dang joke.
I have a 20 something year hatred of the ACC, it is impossible to switch that to love
These top 4 points are it. The rest below are just some ramblings.

I will get crucified for this, but VT and BC fairly well dominated the ACC immediately post move. Strangely, Miami continued to suck. Sprinkled in with some struggles, the Big East survived, if not thrived, in on-field terms, relative to the ACC, w/out those teams. Imagine if they had never left? We had a strong hand, but apparently Swofford had pictures of all of us with hookers. He told everyone the ship was sinking, and they jumped off.
I hate the we win by losing mentality of all of this. It is weak.
I am with JB. In 10 years, I wonder if we'll be questioning why we did this?
BC sucks more than ever. How much of that is related to having been in the ACC?
We are now at the dinner table, but who decides where we sit and what is for dinner?
There seems to be a bit of a mob/magic bullet mentality about this that I find a bit odd. Yes, we are going to get some more money. But so is Pitt, so is UConn, and whomever else. And our competition in-conference will all have that money as well. And every team in every other super conference will have their new shares of their new pies. Subtract the huge exit fees. So, what have we all gained? Are we magically now a better team? Or are we going to end up a bottom feeder like BC? What happens if WVU and TCU stay in the BE and pick up some Big12 leftovers? There is a lot to like about the move. See 98 out of 100 posts. There's no need to repeat all that. I'm a liberal, so I am pretty excited at the prospect of getting free ACC money that I have not earned. Yay socialism! On a serious note, the name value of our opponents just took a big step up. This is good news for season ticket holders back in the Cuse. I hope Gross does not use this opportunity to book half our home contests at the Meadowlands. Someone check the fine print.
