You forgot Womack.
Womack was in on kick offs
He was in pretty much the whole 4th quarter.
I hate when teams do that. The opponent knows you're running 90% of the time and the other 10% you're having a 2nd rate passer try to throw downfield. I don't mind trick plays but that's not fooling anyone. Is there a Wildcat package in Lester's O? Womack needs to move back to QB and come in for 10 plays per game @ QB...
I agree with this. It's like when we used to insert Dee Brown at QB. Gee, I wonder what play we might be running!I hate when teams do that. Yes but if you're effective at it, opponent can't stop it even IF they know what's coming...I hate when teams do that. The opponent knows you're running 90% of the time and the other 10% you're having a 2nd rate passer try to throw downfield. I don't mind trick plays but that's not fooling anyone.
Womack is an actual qb running Wildcat imo, not just a wr or rb taking a direct snap...I agree with this. It's like when we used to insert Dee Brown at QB. Gee, I wonder what play we might be running!
Dee Brown was, too. He was a QB in high school, just like Womack. From the NY Post in 1999:Womack is an actual qb running Wildcat imo, not just a wr or rb taking a direct snap...
Memory is getting fuzzy, never remember Dee as a qb...Dee Brown was, too. He was a QB in high school, just like Womack. From the NY Post in 1999:
"Tailback Dee Brown was to have seen some action at QB until he strained his Achilles’ tendon against Central Michigan. He not only runs the option, but Syracuse has installed off-tackle blasts with him running the ball. Plus, he arrived in Syracuse as a QB and can throw. Who says three QBs can’t work?"
