24-1. We will play bad games this year and this was one of them. We still beat a top 10 team and have full control of the regular season title.

Bring on the Huskies.

I'll take an ugly win in the NC game too!

my personal congrats to jimmy b for moving pass the dean .but once again we don't shoot it well and get absolutely killed on the boards. we did not look like the #2 team in the nation tonite. this trend to me is worrisome. i want to see the cuse once again firing on all cylnders and not limping home to victory.

An ugly win is always better than the prettiest loss.

One of the only ways to beat us is to make it an ugly game. Credit to Georgetown. They know they have inferior talent and were able to control tempo and turn this into a half court game. It almost worked.

To me, this team needs games like this. It's not always pretty, but learning to execute in a game like this means 10 times more than a 25 point dunk contest against St. John's. This is the blueprint we'll see opponents use again and again, so wins like this are valuable.

Georgetown is a solid club. This was a good win and I will take it. Sometimes you play a bad game. I give them credit after we didnt win it in regulation and then fell behind in OT to gut out this win.

Yep - A great team wins when they don't play well (or play like crap). And we did that against a Top 10 (or so) team. Gutty, never quit win.

That being said, there's a LOT I'd like to see cleaned up - shooting, rebounding, little stuff like that.:D

I find this troubling too...starting to wonder whether this is the team's true personality and what we saw early was simply the result of weak competition. Seems like every game is going to be a slugfest and we are going to have to scratch and claw to score points. I sure wish we'd get a few guys to heat up and hit some shots. Waiters, Scoop, Southerland and Fair couldn't hit anything tonight. I would also like to see them figure out how to involve Melo in the offense more.

Georgetown has to really being kicking themselves. They let the only guy on the floor that could beat them tonight, get off the three to beat them.

Our halfcourt offense, if you want to call it that, is often times atrocious.

For anyone familiar with Stuart Dooley, the redheaded kid with a deep voice on King of the Hill, I think each Orange was living by one of his one liners tonight: "I'm building character".
