That's certainly true of death. I live alone, have no dependents and no bucket list, (I'm a man of small pleasures). I've realized my life will end at some point for many years and the idea of that doesn't bother me. I want to know what I will experience along the way. A good friend who lost his son to pancreatic cancer told me that his son had a decent 8 months after the diagnosis, then it all happened in the 9th month. That doesn't sound too bad.
