Its time

Ahhh, an observer from the dark side. Some just don't get what this team has and what it doesn't. JB does and he's told us about one junior the rest, except for Buddy who only came on in one half, inexperienced soph's and freshmen. Without Boeheim' scoring in the first half to match Hughes we are in trouble against a team who sank many 3's. This team needs more time to play, gain confidence and most of all put the ball in the basket. With 44 years in you'd think you'd realize that. NCAA's no. NIT maybe.

Time that fans start to shift their hope to FB. Then back to Bb. Back and forth in the beginning of seasons where we lose our hope for success.

all true, also need some muscle and weight. we have not had a good inside banger in years.

The 2019-20 year looks to be the worst combined B-ball/football season for Syracuse that I can remember.
Barring us making a turnaround in basketball this year will pass 2005-2006.
We went 1-10 in football and until GMac’s 4 days in MSG were headed to the NIT. We were under .500 in Big East play that year.

Our starting 5 looks pretty similar to most P6 teams in terms of experience. Offense was not a big problem today, defense was. The zone can't keep up with many rosters in today's game. Every decent team has long range shooters that run u.s around the court until one of them gets open. This leaves everybody in a poor rebounding position. Without at least a mediocre center to rebound one out of every few misses, we are just giving up too many possessions. That isn't changing over time this season and not likely next year either.
