Looking for an early December road trip? How about the District of Columbia on the weekend of Dec. 10?
That's when Jamesville-DeWitt's boys basketball team plays in a Washington, D.C. tournament that includes DeMatha High School, Oak Hill Academy and Texas powerhouse Grace Prep Academy. Other schools will also participate. The tournament organizer, Keith Stevens, said he has yet to finalize game-time details, but confirmed that DeMatha will host the event.
Oak Hill is scheduled to play Grace Prep on Dec. 10; J-D is scheduled to play DeMatha that same day. Stevens said the J-D vs. DeMatha clash likely will occur in the early evening. On Sunday, Dec. 11, J-D will play Oak Hill, probably at 4 or 5 p.m., Stevens said.
