Jacob Hill could be a big small package surprise this season

At 5'6" he has an amazing ability to stop and come back to top speed in just a few steps. His cutting ability in the open field is amazing. I cans him as a big time return player for both puts and kicks. Look for yourself.

YES!

Darren Sproles? Such a love/hate relationship I've had with that guy.

Great odens raven

His change of direction and acceleration are incredible ... Cannot believe no B10 saw him

Needs to go somewhere with a grad assistant and a punt gun - for 3 hours a day.

I see him as a KO return guy. Punt returners are a different breed. You have to be half crazy, shifty, and have great hands to field punts.

I think his straight line speed is a better fit for Ko's.

But what do I know...

Needs more cowbell.

Seriously though, dude has serious straight line speed in pads. That is elite speed.

At least no jangling keys.;)

Kid is scary fast! Whoa!

It's great to have legit options...

Hope he gets a shot and does well.

Great, now he's been "Elon Mitchelled."
I played for Westhill back in the early 90's and to my uninformed eye, that looks like Class C competition.

That being said, I'll keep with the Chiefs theme and say he reminds me of a Dante Hall/Dexter McCluster/D'Anthony Thomas type player. Small but slippery and quick.
For another KC reference I'll quote Jarrod Dyson, "that's what speed do."

Impressive find for a preferred walk on. Wouldn't be surprising to see him contributing at some point down the road.

Reminds me a lot of that kid from NC [Eason?] we were considering offering.

I want to see him and Moe returning kicks next year. No matter who gets the ball, they'll have blazing speed to go along with the "where the is he" factor among the trees.

Ball security will be the biggest thing if they are going to use him they need to give him the same level of training and S&C as other backs and make sure his ball security is highest quality. Otherwise Id absolutely love to see him returning kicks, Fast, elusive, difficult to see behind blockers and stout, looked like a bowling ball out there.

I was thinking more like a Mel Gray, return specialist extraordinaire.

I watched this kid in the scrimmage and was amazied. Now maybe he was playing against the 2 and 3's, but you can't teach the shiftiness and speed that I saw.

What I liked most about his performance at fanfest was how much the rest of the offense was jacked up when he scored. Like he's been on the team forever, which means he's quickly integrated himself on the team.
