JACOBY MATHEWS TRANSFER PORTAL FROM TX A&M

Jacoby Mathews' time in College Station is coming to a close.
According to reports, Mathews plans to enter the 15-day transfer portal window this spring beginning on April 15. Mathews will have until April 30 to land at a new program for the start of the 2024 season.

The 6-foot-2, 215-pound safety will have two years of eligibility remaining.

Mathews recorded 66 total tackles, 0.5 tackles for loss, one interception, seven pass breakups, and one fumble recovery over two seasons at Texas A&M. He saw action in 22 games, including 12 starts, with the Aggies.

Mathews signed with Texas A&M as a five-star prospect out of Ponchatoula, Louisiana in the class of 2022. He ranked as the No. 32 overall prospect and No. 2 safety in the nation.
