Will he make it two solid games in a row?

Could be a game we need his outside presence ... kid has swagger too ... mini Dion confidence wise!

I think so, once he hits shots (I think it started vs. UConn) he keeps going. JB said earlier James hitting shots will be a key to make it far in March, and so far so good.

Anyone think he should start? I know he wont but right now James seems to be the difference maker on this team.

When James is in I would like to see KJo iso near the block ala Carmelo to give us some kind of post presence.

Same reason Dion doesn't start.

We really need CJ to get going; he's been terrible lately.

I definately know what you're saying. I just find it funny that our 2 best players right now dont start lol.

CJ has been bad ever since he's been in the starting lineup; maybe that's a coincedence (he got sick) or maybe he likes coming off the bench better. Either way, James' offense is more important because he's our best 3PT shooter.

I honestly think CJ comes off the bench next year anyway so why dont we just put Southerland at the 4, because imo JS starts at the 3 next year.

To win... everyone's gotta come to the beach. CJ gotta get outta his funk ... quick. We need his rebounding todayin a very big way!!

Eh the only way CJ has a chance of coming off the bench is if we get Noel; Rak-5 Noel-4 South-3.

Otherwise JSouth and CJ will start at the 3 and 4 most likely; Grant won't be ready.

Somewhere, Carmelo laughed...
KJo is to Carmelo, what Eddy Curry is to Dwight Howard but he is still our best chance at a post presence. It seems hes been good at it when hes done it a few times this year. Plus is decreases the amount of floor space he can dribble it off his leg in.

I want JS to have another big game. A key to a good post season run is usually for inconsistent players to become consistent forces in a game. But the biggest thing I want to see is the KJ-CJ factor. They've both been in low gear and we are a different team when they are playing well.

I envision if no Noel, MCW/Triche/South/Rak/DC2 with Cooney/CJ/Keita off the bench. Those pieces just fit imo, and we would be extremely balanced.

JB has said how much better of a fit Rak is at the 5, that's where he'll end up. Plus ideally you don't want DC2 and Rak in the game a whole lot together because of; 1. Fouls 2. they both have to be in the paint on offense.

No way they both start next year.

If thats the case then I guess South and CJ both start, which is fine but we have no PF backup and 3 centers.

I think Nerlens is a big get for us. Getting him allows DC2 and Fair/South to go to the bench; with Noel at 4 and Rak at the 5. Noel could even play the 5 need be (I think Keita would redshirt)

If we don't; CJ and James both start, DC2 backs up Rak and Grant will get more PT.

If C.J. has to come off the bench go 1. Scoop 2. Triche 3. Joseph 4. Southerland 5. Christmas. Then bring C.J. in and if K-State doesn't have anybody over 6'9" then we can bring Fair in forr JSo or Christmas and play a small lineup.

Here's hoping Cal goes pro because even after all the nonsense going on I think we have just as good a shot of getting him as UK. I would have to think losing Cal would eliminate them or seriously hurt their chances with Noel.
