Jason Bromley

Excited for him this year after seeing him invited to media day. Must be looking impressive. All from the all star game, too...

290lbs. 4.82 40 yard dash! :)

Chandler Jones 4.87 at the combine.

Given the issues at DE vs the suddenly large numbers at DT, I hope they take a look at J outside.

...with an additional 20-25 lbs that CJ wasn't carrying.

J Bromley was very raw when he arrived at SU, and he played anyway as a true freshman. I've enjoyed watching his progress from day one, and I hope he can stay healthy this year and continue to develop. His story is a great one- playing high school football late in the city at a school with a new program and going unnoticed until the All-Star game between the city and LI.

i hate when a thread is titled with just a players name. Right away i think, great he stole a tv and kicked off the team or great, he's out with a lower body injury and out for the season.
From now on I plan to check the ped st roster and hope he's a QB, LB, OL, DL, DB, RB or WR...and that he's coming to Cuse

He's reminding me of Muhammed Wilkerson. Both were extremely raw coming out of high school but their builds and athleticism are just built to be defensive linemen. If he keeps getting bigger, he could be an early NFL pick.

Jay Bromley was a great pick-up - the kind of pick-up that this program still needs until the W-L and ACC factors kick-in.

No reason to not take it seriously. Why post it if it's BS? What possible benefit would that have for anyone?

Better still, what reason to point out that it's not credible?

If you don't like the information or the source, keep it to yourself. That falls into the category of gratuitous and uncivil.

A lot of crap gets posted here because, at best, "I heard it from a friend, whose mother is the janitor in the football office...," at worst the poster just made it up. If you can't substantiate what you post, it's meaningless.

Can you be further off base? Maybe youre in the outfield trying to steal home plate.

It's not unreasonable to think this guy runs a 4.82 40. He's 290 lbs, has been a freak athlete since day 1 and isn't carrying any extra weight.

That person is actually a very credible source.

How about before you start spouting off your own crap you learn who the credible posters are. If your not sure, then zip it and take the time to find out like everyone else does when they don't know.

This is why a premium board existed in the past, for all of the whiners about the idea of a premium board it served it's purpose for people who wanted information from legit sources.

FYI and full disclaimer - no BBQ grills or family members were injured during the timing of the players at the premium board picnic. It was also held in an outside facility that was certified free-range and organic but we unfortunately did not get grass-fed certification. Some board members speculated results/times may have been up to 10% better had we been able to meet this strict certification.

Plus we'll have to deal with the reality of everything when the games start. July/August are when we get to be optimistic and get fired up about how great everything is. If I'm robbed of that I don't know where I'd turn.
